I used to think the eye with the slash in it when you're inputting a password, if clicked, would turn on a camera so it could verify your identity that way so you didn't have to put in your password. For the longest time I didn't realize I could check for typos in my password - if I thought I made a mistake I just redid it.

ok so maybe that one is the single drop of tea that deserves context
my family got this new laptop years ago
I had an account on it right? or profile or user or whatever the right term is my brain is jelly
my icon was an actual picture of me
and that's where I got that idea bc I think that might have been the first time I'd seen the show password button look like that
and I think I knew it was wrong in the back of my head moving forward but I also couldn't shake the idea for a while
