There were quite a few new faces around as of late - joiners, rejoiners, the baby. She was relieved, it just meant more of her to talk about. So she made sure to arrive early to wait for the others so she could start the meeting. She questioned Eddie's choice to leave her in charge, but she didn't argue about it either. Holding Keiron in one arm and a sleepy Tommy on her hip - she was partly glad she arrived when she did. First one there made it easier to get everyone situated...and let her argue with Tommy before giving in to holding him.

This would be their first meeting since...everything. Though she hoped it would be a bit more lively with the children being back which she felt was a huge relief just knowing that they were all safe and home. She just hoped things could settle down for a while. She felt they all deserved that much.

— I like to think Blake is a good example of the whole "strong, independent woman" thing even if she doesn't identify as a woman. She has a short temper and what I gently put as homicidal tendencies. She will gladly fight someone, regardless if they're bigger than her or not. However, she's also rather maternal and is more likely to protect a child than anything. Her maternal side has massively shown itself since the twins were born, though that leaves her more violent side to be overlooked or forgotten.

He could hardly remember the events of the last meeting he'd attended. It was probably at Flintlock, though maybe it had been when he was still with the Moorland Riders. There were house meetings with Johannes and Torrin, but did those really count? He didn't think so. Sometimes topics in those would align with what was discussed in group meetings, but the last one had been to establish who was piling dirty socks in the corner of the living room (it wasn't who you think it is). A bit more personal and petty than the consequential announcements for group meetings.

So Gray shuffled in and leaned against one of the walls, hands in his pockets, fingers caressing the fluorescent pink highlighter he never seemed to be without. His expression was about as close to neutral as it got, though the RBF might suggest otherwise.

Socks... The living room had started to smell like Actual Cheese. It wasn’t okay at that point. A house meeting had been warranted.

Anyway, that wasn’t the focus here. Torrin also had a small child on his hip because frankly, he and Ezekiel had been inseparable since torrin coming to visit. the little boy was absolutely fascinated with his “big bubba”, and torrin was incredibly enthused about the whole thing. Zeke was sleeping now, though. he seemed to sleep through quiet or serious conversations, not entertained enough my anything to do much more than nap. For real though, torrin had carried this kid to walk the dogs. it wasn’t like ezekiel couldn’t walk. Torrin simply insisted. this was why he was here, he was going to throw a fit if he didn’t get every little moment out of it.

Vinny was seated on the couch, with his feet up casually on the coffee table. He was still new to Flintlock, and he was trying to process all that had happened recently to the group. This was his first meeting with the lot of them, and he glanced around the group, studying each face curiously. As he waited for the meeting to start, he fiddled with his thumbs. Damn, he needed a cigarette.

Once she decided enough people had joined, she adjusted her hold on the two boys she held before deciding it was time to start the meeting. "Right, so, the most obvious things first. I'll start off by saying that the war with Bluestem is over, we're able to now go back to normal as we have nothing more to worry about." or as close to normal as some of them could get to she supposed. After all, not everyone could go back to normal for one reason or another.

"Which leads me to explain why you're having to listen to me talk and not Eddie." she paused  "He went on a trip to tell our associates about the outcome of the war and - for some reason - he's left me in charge until he gets back." a small smile tried to appear on her face at the end of the sentence, knowing right now she probably wasn't some people's favorite person.  "Also, I'm sure you've all noticed by now but those who were evacuated to Northstar have returned. So welcome back to you all." she welcomed, kissing both Keiron and Tommy's heads.

"Which is a nice segway for me to introduce new faces. I'm sure some of you have met him already but I'd like to formally introduce Cade - you'll likely see him around with me and while Danny's here with him as well. Childwise I'd also like to introduce Xena, my now youngest and while we stay on the subject of kids I'm also going to use this to welcome back Torrin and Gray as well." she spoke, nodding towards those she spoke about as they came up. She then moved on to the other joiners and those returning  "Along with them, I'd also like to welcome: Scarlett, Jay, Lucky, Bryce, and Xavier. Along with them, we're welcoming back Wren. So the Lodge has many new faces around and I hope you all enjoy yourselves here!"

She paused for a moment before adding the last piece of the meeting  "Finally, with the passing of Seb, Eddie has asked me that everyone respects the family at this time as they grieve. So please do so and should I find out otherwise...well, this is your warning." her tone wasn't a joking one, it was serious. She knew the importance of such a period for people and thus if this wish wasn't granted she'd love to deal with it for them.

 "That's all! Go eat, I'll hang around if anyone wants or needs me but otherwise have a good night everyone. You're dismissed." And with that, she set Tommy down and after a lot of convincing watched him walk off to go eat. Kieron she would be stuck with since he couldn't walk off yet but that was fine. One of them she could handle no problem.

Ah shit, they'd been at war? Looks like he and Torrin got to Flintlock at just the right time - Gray might be someone that thrived on conflict, but he didn't want to risk his boyfriend getting hurt in the crossfire. All of the announcements were fine and good, with the exception of one. "Childwise I'd also like to introduce Xena, my now youngest and while we stay on the subject of kids I'm also going to use this to welcome back Torrin and Gray as well."

They were not children. Gray's lip curled the moment he heard that. They might be young, but they were still fully fledged adults. "We aren't children. We're only a few years younger than you." Even when he was fifteen, sixteen, he probably would have had the same reaction, if not harsher.

[COLT MADISON.]

— Normally, Colt enjoyed meetings. It was an excuse to get everyone in the Lodge together and socialize, after all - to an extent, at least. But not today - not when he could see Xavier, sitting ever-so-casually on the couch across the room from him. It felt so wrong to see the Ring's right-hand in the Lodge like he belonged; it was like Colt's two very separate lives had collided, impeding on each other. He hated it - hated how it was messing with his head.

He would bounce his leg continuously as the meeting commenced, though he managed to appear relatively relaxed otherwise - like it was just a normal day. The information that Blake presented was relatively expected - Eddie was gone, the children had returned, there were some newcomers. He kept his head down, the gears in his mind turning. He had to figure out some way to get rid of Xavier before Eddie got back.

Xavier had plopped himself down in a seat as soon as the meeting had started, hands up behind his head. He sat through the announcements with a slight, cheerful smile, lifting his hand as his name was called. Though he put out an air of cheerfulness, truth be told, he was growing impatient. It was just his luck that he showed up just as his target had left indefinitely. It didn't matter - he would just have to sit tight and wait. It did give him the chance to gain the trust of the other Lodge members - after all, the longer he remained inconspicuous and blended in, the less he looked like an outsider and a potential threat. There was still a slight concern that Colt would change his mind and raise the alarm, but Xavier doubted it. He was too scared, too selfish. The man sat back with a satisfied smile, crossing his arms over his chest.
